these are absolutely worthless until it has been proven that the double clicking issues have been fixed
I had the g502 hero and I did experience that. The hero looks exactly the same but it's wired. Also the scroll wheel drove me crazy. I love the hyper scrolling that works great on websites, but when you switch to the precision scroll wheel that clicks each time you spin the scroll wheel, sometimes it does not register.
It will drive you mad in video games when it happens. Trying to change weapons, and the weapon selection won't go to your secondary. In critical moments it will fail. You can never predict when it will happen. I wish Logitech would remake the g500 (the OG g500, not the g500s). These newer mice are so poorly put together. Terrible reliability.

Not even remotely true for a while. The wireless tech is just as low latency as wired now
I know right! Someone just said that to me about headset to, that cant get great sound. Mine sounds great. I guess to each is there own. Buy what works for you and be happy with it.
they will not fix the double click, it has been many many years of the same exact problem across most of their line. they use low quality Omeron switches, even though they could buy higher quality switches from the same manufacturer (which is what I end up doing).
if you are comfortable soldering it's an easy fix. but you shouldn't need to do this, of course.
all that said, this is still my favorite mouse …
