Yeah, that's what I am thinking as I missed signing up for plus, will wait and sign up tomorrow with world elite master card, don't know if I can combine Sam's club bonus offer as I will be using Sam's club world elite master card.
It had the update price but when I went to check out it canceled the yearlong promo. I am trying BIGDEAL, but it's returning an error message. I think going to sign up for yearlong without the promo and see if I can get the upgrade statement credit.

So you paid $20 for the full year and Amex says you're getting $6 back?

Ad-supported does not sound very premium. Oh, you need Premium PLUS I guess for no ads. It's gotten way too silly with all these streaming services and their naming schemes.

No one is talking about the statement credit for using a world MasterCard when signing up for this offer...will it not work or am I missing something?

I'm interested in this as well.

Edit: so it appears that you get peacock "premium" for a year for $20, they charge you $6 a month for "premium plus", but then you get a $5 statement credit. $26 to sign up, which matches the deal. So that's $32 for premium plus for the year, way better than the Amex deal.

The T&C's specifically mention you need to purchase at a non-discounted price so who knows if they will credit or not. The offer does show as attached. I am going to try it and see what happens.

If we sign up for the monthly deal for $1.99, can we add the no ad tier for $5.99?
Yes. This works because the Premium Plus no ad tier is not really a different plan, but rather an addition to the Premium plan with ads. It worked for me, and the annual plan discount worked for someone else with the no ad tier, as indicated a few comments above/earlier.

Because let's say I get this deal for 20 bucks a year... And the Hulu deal for 99 cents a month, plus the Disney offer for 2 bucks a month and that's all I need with an over the air antenna, plus all the free Roku channels. I've paid 56 dollars for 3 streaming services for the year, have all the network channels thru the antenna and all the hundreds of channels offered for free thru Roku. I was paying 130 a month for satellite TV.... And you know what I still had to watch thru DirecTV paying that 130 a month... Commercials.
Also got Paramount + for $30 a couple months ago. I can watch most NFL games and have plenty of television for less than $100 total per year. I can watch a few commercials or go get a snack for the difference in price.

They had this deal last year for the week then hit you with the $1/month on Black Friday. If you're a Sams Club member you can get 30% back in Sams Cash after linking a card (~$6)
The deal last year was definitely $0.99/month pre Black Friday. I just checked my email confirmation to be sure. It does look like there was a deal for $19.99 last year that ended on the 19th and was replaced with the $0.99 deal starting on the Sunday the 20th. I don't know if they'll go any lower this week but my guess is probably not.

The Sams Club offer would have been nice, but I don't have any around me. $20 isn't bad, and if urlhasbeenblocked comes through it'll be even better, so i can't complain (too much).

TBH I don't mind the ads - it's better than waiting on the "your show will be back shortly" slide! Subscribed mainly for ND home games, got the Tour de France coverage and the Rugby world cup. Worth the price of admission just for the above.

Yeah, it appears to not work. I tried a couple variations - 1 year with plus, 1 month with plus, signed up for 1 year and tried to add plus, but none of them worked.

For those interested in trying other methods, the promo code for the Mastercard offer is PEAUVJXVT61TBG

Thanks OP. In for 14 bucks annual after my Sam's club 30% discount.

Edit:
I was very tempted to get the premium Plus for $80 total. And then get $24 Sam's club cash back from that. Putting the out the door price to $56 for premium Plus, plus tax.

It would have been nothing to pay the extra $42 to get the ad-free plan, but I primarily watch peacock for the movies anyway that have the ads in the beginning and not in the movie.

Peacock is really only worth one to $2 per month anyway. Peacock Black Friday deal from last year expired on the 20th so I'm good to go for another year
Never mind - I see the Sams Club is just a redirect and it's only using the card linked for the bonus and not url, so the charges have to be Peacock. Just not sure how it would work if you have the offer on Amex and then link the same card with Sams Club and if it let's you double dip?

I just use privacy.com for anything subscription based.
