Because let's say I get this deal for 20 bucks a year... And the Hulu deal for 99 cents a month, plus the Disney offer for 2 bucks a month and that's all I need with an over the air antenna, plus all the free Roku channels. I've paid 56 dollars for 3 streaming services for the year, have all the network channels thru the antenna and all the hundreds of channels offered for free thru Roku. I was paying 130 a month for satellite TV.... And you know what I still had to watch thru DirecTV paying that 130 a month... Commercials.
I don't have a Roku device yet is that what you needed to get the free Roku channels forgive my total ignorance I'm 65 years old and trying to learn

I purchased though Visa via Sam's club, then updated cc to privacy cc so that I don't cancel the account

I have never been charged for using a Privacy card. It has processed $80 in charges and counting just this month.

If youre an Xfiniy internet subscriber, get yourself a free Flex box and you get Peacock Premium for free...not only on that device, but on any device that you log into Peacock Premium. I dont even us the Flex box now, just installed the app on two TVs and free access.
Is there any way to do this without having to get the xfinity flexbox first? Like is there a way to link peacock with your Xfinity account to get the free access?

Don't you have to get their stupid tv streaming service to get that flex box, or can you have an internet only plan, and get that flex box plus PP for free?

I just did this. My Peacock sub was expired, so eligible for the deal. I had already saved the Peacock $5.99 and $20 offers on my AmEx card when I saw them come up recently as I wasn't sure which I would end up using. I also have Sam's Plus membership. I logged into Sam's, added my AmEx as a linked card for the Sam's Cash bonus offers and activated the Peacock deal bonus offer. Then I went to Peacock and signed in to my account, it asked me if I wanted the Premium Black Friday offer, I clicked no thanks so I could view all the plan options and pick the annual Premium Plus. I selected the annual Premium Plus option, added promo code YEARLONG, entered my AmEx for the payment. Total charge on my AmEx is $79.99. I already received emails from AmEx that I used both the $20 offer, and the $5.99 Peacock offer. I also have pending Sam's Cash of $28.80 on my Sam's account. So if it all posts to my accounts like it appears it will, my total is $79.99 - 20 - 5.99 - 28.80 = $25.20 for 1 year of Premium Plus. I'm pretty happy with that!!!
Sam's Plus is $110 a year right? But yeah if all that math works out $25 for a year of ad-free is good for sure.

Just signed up for one year using the Amex Blue Cash Preferred to get the $5.99 statement credit, 6% for streaming services, plus $4 from the CB portal with the pig.

I wish I didn't sign up for this on the last deal in July. My 12 month sub will end before the Olympics and I bet you can't get this next June or July.

Edit: I just checked my account and see that I have until May to accept $19.99/ year.

BTW: I only get ads at the beginning of movies. About a minute. No big deal.

It is. I didn't sign up for Sam's Plus just to get this deal, I already am a Plus member anyway. It just happened to make this deal on Peacock even better.

All these streaming services that are ad supported. What's the point? People might as well go back to cable. Only a matter of time before someone consolidates them all and then it is basically cable again.
It's actually worse than cable, you can't fast-forward through these commercials.

Not sure if it's been asked, but what is the difference with this $20/yr vs the free Peacock I currently use? I can watch the Office, Parks and Rec, etc with ads already, which is the main reason I use Peacock. Does the paid version have less ads than the free, or some reason I'd pay vs free?
Some shows aren't available with the free version, and I think it affects what sports you get if it's a free plan. You need to do some googling to see if there's anything you'd be interested in from the paid plan.

Most of what I watch is available on the free version. Thought I might do the $20/yr if there was some benefit I wasn't seeing, but think I'm good this time without paying for the privilege to watch the same ads. Thank you for your reply.
