I placed an order shortly after it was posted for two pair. It was $32 with shipping. I had never heard of this brand before.
My take is that, sure, they may honor them. Perhaps they were going to make a charitable donation or perhaps they just wanted to get some of their shoes out there. If I end up getting shoes, I would conceivably have a positive opinion of them and their brand and spread the word - and even more so if I like them. Of course, perhaps it was just a careless mistake. I'm going to be fine whether they ship them or not. Thanks and reps to the OP, though.
You really think a company that uses Shopify to handle it's web design and payment processing is in a position to sustain a loss such as this?
Yes. They shipped out like 8 shoes to me that last time this happened with a one time use intended code. Once you get the shoes you'll see it's not that expensive and is likely drop shipped from China. It's like prob 10-15 bucks max a shoe.
The shoes are ok in terms of fit and comfort but there's essentially zero cushioning but I do like that it's waterproof and feels pretty low to the ground. Think of them as more contoured chucks.
Internal or personal code that was disseminated across deal websites, resulting in unauthorized uses. You aren't stupid; you just have a slight glimmer of hope that they might be like Amazon and will honor it. You'll bitch at the people abusing it for multiple items/orders, like it will make a difference. But like the other few dozen of price mistakes/promo codes errors you try to get in on, you realize this is yet another relatively small company who in no way can substain such a loss. They will determine you were among those unauthorized orders, and cancel. Thought your smart 1000IQ opting for expedited shipping plan to try and beat the digital red flagging was going to work... Bah those bastards. You will start getting marketing emails, even though you swear you didn't click that damn checkbox, and resent this company. You will wonder how they will handle your personal info, and if it was worth taking a chance on a very obvious mistake. You swear off price mistakes from now on. Yet here you are once again.
Hey if they can't properly test things before deploying to production that's not the consumers fault. Maybe hire better employees?

You don't understand how they acknowledge orders if it's less compared to more when ppl misuse such glitches. Always 1 or 2 should be fine. Not more than as they will cancel all items

Hate to break it to you, but even shipping confirmation e-mails aren't even necessarily a guarantee

Knew the deal was gonna expire soon, so I rushed.
