A note on card readers, the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. The Evo Plus and Pro Plus might perform the same when used on a Switch or Steam Deck..

While the UHS-I spec has a theoretical maximum of 104 MB/s, some UHS-I cards can exceed that speed through proprietary extensions. You need a compatible card reader and host device to take advantage of that extra performance, though. If you find a UHS-I card advertising speeds higher than 104 MB/s, this is what's going on. You can see these limits in action with a Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck: Both of those gaming devices support the UHS-I interface and don't go beyond its official speed, flattening any sequential gains some cards may have elsewhere. The broader takeaway: Your microSD card will only be as fast as the slowest link in your chain.

I went with the Pro Plus because $7 more wasn't that bad. But if you are planning to use for a Switch or Steam Deck I doubt you will notice much difference.

Can you remove the mention of dash cams? Someone's going to buy this, put it in a dashcam, get in an accident, and not be able to pull footage because the card failed months prior. For dash cams you need a high endurance card, not one of these general purpose ones.

I went with the $25 one because unless you're doing a lot of writes, you're paying extra for nothing. I'll be using mine in a Galaxy Tab through syncthing. No need for 100MB+ throughputs since my wifi won't get near that.
