Tap water with extra steps? Sign me up! Actually, don't do that.

"Also, your body, on its own, can keep your pH levels at an even keel. Your kidneys are your built-in filtration system. It's their job to balance the acid levels in your body. If your blood gets too acidic, your body brings it down by breathing out more carbon dioxide.

Your stomach is the great equalizer. Your gastric juices -- a combination of digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid -- neutralize everything you eat and drink. Basically, your stomach will re-acidify alkaline water before it can do anything the health claims promise."

Brita filters are very basic and barely do anything. A reverse osmosis system is way better.

Regardless of the claims (good or bad), this is the best tasting water I've had and is the brand I buy 98% of the time for myself. Thanks OP!

I like Penta but all is overpriced versus filtering own water. Many of these just add baking soda to change the PH

Hate the taste of water filtered by Brita, that's the first issue.

The second issue is even if im using the Brita tap filter (which is far inferior to the jug) the water takes forever to get cool.

Compare that to grabbing a 33-35 degree bottle of water from the fridge and instantly drinking it, cold and filtered.

I take my plastics to recycle anyways whats another bag of bottled water.

Reducing waste > recycling waste. Costs way less too for a little more effort

Buy 5 pack with subscribe and save plus redeem the $15 off $75 for a total of $55.80 for 5 cases of 12 bottles of 1.25liter Essentia bottles. $11.18 each case after tax. Maybe less depending on your city tax %.
