Everything stuck to it. I am not sure which type it was I just remembered it being stainless

Yeah well this is still stainless, not non stick, so if you cook with it incorrectly things will still stick 🙄

It generally won't stick if you use it properly. SS is great but not as easy as non stick. But there's no coating to wear off in your food. Can last a lifetime. Barkeeper's friend is your friend.
I'm not who you're replying to, but I think the insinuation is that if things are sticking to your stainless steel pans then you're not cooking correctly. Because when you cook correctly on stainless steel the food does not stick.
But it is a little more advanced than the non stick cookware that's more common. The flip side is that stainless steel lasts much longer.
