These sound fantastic. I'm trialing a few of the Tapo matter switches but I really don't like their shiny plastic. I saw these suggest a glossy plate to match, are they glossy as well?
Lutron, Leviton and most existing switches are matte. I don't understand why the smart brands tend to lean towards glossy.

I have been waiting years for Inovelli to release the promised matte white to match the legrand switches in the rest of my house. I try not to look at the Inovelli switches, or cringe every time I have to touch them, because the features and stability have been rock solid. Not sure who decided to focus everything on glossy, that's so 1992! I keep hoping Inovelli will be the first to get with the program.
Edit - Down voted within 3 minutes, I guess someone is truly passionate about their GLOSSY!

Go get a rattle can of matte clear coat and spray it yourself for like $5. You can then do everything you want so they can match. You're never stuck with just what you buy and never modifying it yourself.

So true... and six months in you have the added bonus of a nice country antique look with flaking paint... if that is your cup of tea. Tried it and it did not work/last with heavy use.

Well, thanks for that, spoken like a true expert... with name calling and all.
It just so happens that I am a product developer, and some might even call me an expert on coatings... although I obviously have a thing or two to learn from you. It also just so happens that two of my Inovelli switches are the most used in my house in the highest trafficked area, and I doubt any superficial coating on a glossy surface (albeit lightly sanded to take the coating) will withstand the wear-and-tear.
All that to really say, I remain disappointed that Inovelli has yet to make good on the matte white that they told me more than 4 years ago and again about 2 years ago right here on Skickdeals was coming soon. It was one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and purchase. I think their concept of "coming soon" could really use reevaluation.
Anyway, keep dishing out those training lessons champ! Good stuff!

Aqara has some that don't, wondering if this is the same for these
