Ok. thanks. have a good day/night, depending on where you are
I usually buy unflavored isolate from MP. However, my last bag had weird texture, it tasted chalky (or maybe I just spend too much time at the gym and everything tastes like chalk). I don't think they offer good quality protein imo. But again, maybe it was just a bad batch or something. I recently bought Isopure and quality was better. Of course, the price was not.

Does anyone know if they still illegally charge sales tax for shipments to NY? Myprotein is the only company that has charged me tax repeatedly over the years for protein powders. Even now their order page shows tax as:
"TAX*
$0.00
*Tax displayed at checkout is an estimate, final tax is generated on order dispatch"
I can't tell if that means the $80 is the actual amount they will charge me or if they'll tack on an extra amount for tax they shouldn't be collecting for NY.
yes, this company has been illegally charging people sales tax and they still do to this day.

I've noticed MP quality gone down hill too. Been using birthday cake flavor for year. Later batch bought a few months ago was completely different in color, texture, taste, and mixability (makes tons of bubbles when shaken)
Something has changed and it's drastic. Never buying again. Going back to gold standard I guess
Absolutely, they are stealing money from consumers, as they aren't obligated to send sales tax to the state as it is food. screw them.. really
doing a chat with their CS - HILARIOUS:

They still collect it for WA state, even though it's considered food. E.g. Amazon doesn't collect sales tax on protein powders.
Thank you, i will assume they'll charge me the tax and that will change the price per pound for me. I'll stick with New World Nutritionals since it's a bit cheaper in bulk without being on sale and they don't charge me sales tax.

Is it cheaper? Just checked the website, the 5lbs whey isolate is $55 vs 5.5lbs for $40+tx with myprotein.

It's cheaper for the bulk order. 15 pounds for $122.50. Their protein is decent, the chocolate flavor isn't as good as myprotein chocolate smooth flavor and they recently changed their bags to a lower quality plastic that really let's the smell of the powder out. I hope they switch back to their black bags that release no smell. I now have to keep the protein bags in a tub with a sealed lid so everything doesn't smell like protein. Overall a good product and I don't hunt for protein sales anymore since I'm content with the price.

I have been getting the 15lbs isolate from eBay for 112. Seems like it is cheaper buying New world from eBay and what I like is that they use stevia
This is the best deal I've seen on isolate from MyProtein in a year! FYI you can save 5% if you use the code listed on this alert plus order via the mobile app. Total w/o tax $76.
They want to charge me tax in Florida. Except that is illegal. I decided I don't want to order from them. It seems like they are openly charging taxes and then pocketing the money, which is a serious violation. They are definitely going to get sued over this, and can't claim ignorance since it is all over SD and Reddit what they are doing and they apparently don't care.

Quality of MP is WAY down! This company is taking nose dove as far as I am concerned.
Measuring the quality vs MP 3+ years ago, it is terrbile
Now I know they have deals, and this one is OK, but just saying the stuff they are putting out is terrible! If you could see my recent whey protein, and how YELLOW it is, and the low low quality, I am skeptical now
