Link takes me to Amazon Fresh. Backtracking to the 18 pack for S&S doesn't come up with $7.11

I got these last time. As far as artificiay flavored seltzer water goes, this one isn't terrible. I don't like the cherry flavor but that's more bias than anything. Rest are good

It's naturally flavored though?

I'm a Polar man through and through but when these are available I'll grab one. For this price I'll put a case in the fridge.

I live on this stuff and consider drinking flat water a sin. Anyway I'm able to get the 12 packs for about $4.50 at the most (37.5 cents a can, matching this deal), and sometimes they have buy 2 get one or even buy 1 get one.

I suspect this is only a deal if you don't have a local grocery store that doesn't suck, shipping this much weight is what your paying for.

There is absolutely no sugar or sugar substitute of any kind in these. They are naturally flavored. It's carbonated water with flavor. As close to water as possibleSmilie

$7.15 for me just now

"Natural" is pretty meaningless here. They only have to start out with something "natural", like corn and then modify it to get a chemical that has the flavor profile they want.

For an example of how corn can be modified into something completely different, corn is the biggest source of citric acid.

In the process of synthesizing another chemical from something natural, you can end up with a chemical that isn't safe. And not everything that is "natural" is safe.
But yes, I'd agree that I'd rather not consume something that starts from petroleum. But, virtually all artificial vanilla extract or vanilla flavoring does start from a petroleum product, and most vanilla that is used in food you buy is made with artificial vanilla, rather than real vanilla. And this is true of many other ingredients in prepared food. https://www.bonappetit.com/story/...-come-from

Both natural and artificial flavors are synthesized in laboratories, but artificial flavors come from petroleum and other inedible substances, while "natural flavor" can refer to anything that comes from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf—yes, we're still going—meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or anything fermented from those foods, according to Food and Drug Administration spokesperson Deborah Kotz.

A local chain near me just had bubly for 2.77 for an 8 pack. And, I had a $1 off 3 cases paper coupon that had been stuck on some cases I purchased previously.

Safeway has at times had bubly cases buy one, get one free. And, occasionally they'll have a $1 off digital coupon for a case.
