The movie catalog is updated every month with foreign and domestic classics, artsy movies and politically correct movies -- plenty of each. I think about 100 movies are added and 100 removed every month to keep the selection fresh.

i saw a gifting option when i joined a bit ago

edit: went back and tried to find it, maybe it was just the one-month option, i wasn't paying to close attention to that when i joined.
