These break in fast and wear comfortable. Good casual work boots as they wear more sneaker like. I find by end of year two or so they are pretty toast and need replacement. As for hiking I don't think they would stand up or be really comfortable for that if doing much of it.

Thanks! was able to grab a pair of the Timberland Flumes with steel toe for $75 in a color my son doesn't have already.. paid $120 for them off the shelf at Dick's Sporting Goods last month (didn't have time to shop around for deal).

This is a great deal and I love these boots. Gonna buy another pair as my current ones are worn out. But despite the product description, these are absolutely not "true to size". I normally wear a 10.5 in all other shoes, but a 9.5 in these.

If the design is the same as it has been the last few years, you will be very happy with them. I actually replaced my work boots with this model for my 8 hours a day on a concrete floor. I'm back for more pairs!
