For those ordering things at monoprice, it's worth noting they sell their 10 packs for $10 (f/s at $39) with a lifetime warranty https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=38786& (at the moment two 6 packs is cheaper than a ten pack if one needs a crap load.)

Edit: I needed a shitload so: 8 6packs of the black 1ft mono cords costs $40 with free shipping (or if you qualify, with EXTRA30- 30% off any order over $50 two time use on approved products) coupon code 11 6 packs are $39 shipped,

Not looking to throw shade but the Amazon cords are 14ga (15 amp) and the Monoprice ones from the link are 16ga (13 amp). If you're just plugging in a lamp or something with light power consumption this likely won't matter to you but I'm pointing this out for those who prefer to get the heavier duty extension cords.

Aren't these typically used to offset "wall warts" (AC power packs) when using a surge protector strip? Also, to keep those "wall warts" off of the wall? For these purposes, 16 gauge/13 amps is more than adequate. I'd be much more concerned about them being UL or ETL certified!

Fair but keep in mind the typical usage. At 1ft there's really no chance of overloading in 99% of the intended usage (these are used for plugging in bricks or working around furniture for lamps, not power tools typically) if you're using a 13+ amp, I'd not draw more than 1200w personally, individual load and need only an extra foot definitely go as thick as possible, there's a reason RV dog bones are so thick πŸ‘.

Keep in mind that these plugs are flat and the cord comes out at an angle.

If you have upside-down outlets -- or outlets on a double-wide plug strip -- or outlets on a UPS unit, where the cord comes out may interfere with other plugs or be going upwards (placing undue strain on the outlet).

These are intended primarily to move furniture closer to the wall and offset either a large, straight plug or a "wall wart" (AC power pack). Hence the flat plug....which can actually be annoying sometimes.

Not a fan of the angled flat plugs. Much prefer the full 360 swivel models. Yes, they cost more, but well worth it.

You've linked the standard plug extenders. Not really specific to the OP.
