I assume, it'll work with MAC too.
It doesn't have few MAC keys markups only, that's all, right? Smilie

That's a great question. I'm not a Mac guy so maybe someone else can chime in with some wisdom. It's never crossed my mind that a Mac could take a different USB keyboard than a PC, but it makes sense that it might since all my PC keyboards have a Windows key.

Might have to get this even though I don't need another KB.. just looks so clean.

Edit: my favorite KB ever is the G910 Orion Spark.

I've Dell USB keyboard.
I keep re-connecting when switching between win, ubuntu and mac.
And MX keys too.
I can use both Dell and MX keys with win and ubuntu.
And MX keys only with mac, b/c MX keys can auto-switch layouts.

With Dell on mac I keep hitting wrong keys all the time and get angry quickly...

I bought this way back in 2017 for about $60. It works well but I don't care for Logitech's software.

I still have this keyboard from years back and still use it, with some broken keycaps.
I still love the looks, simplicity and sturdiness of the board as a unit.
Problem that will ultimately make me throw this keyboard away are the keycaps.
That's the downfall of this keyboard, cheap ABS caps that will break inside where it meets the MX switch.
For 50-60 bucks, it's a decent buy.. and like I said I still use mine with switching of keycaps from other keys that I don't use, but I learned not to buy Logitech keyboards in the future(models that use the similar cheap quality ABS caps at least).

Just letting a potential buyer be aware..

Have you looked into replacement keycaps sets? They can be had for less than $10 on Amazon. Aliexpress has bunches of them as well for cheap. Search cherry MX key caps

I have the exact same keybaord, purchased for $56 in 2011. I've had the same experience as you with the original keycaps, though it took about 10 years for the first one to break. Most of the time they can be repaired with a little superglue, but they're all destined to fail eventually. Right now my top row is QPERTYUIOW and second is A5[DEL]FGHJKL, lol. As soon as I run out of seldom used keys to swap in I'll consider my options. I'd say that's pretty fantastic value for money. How many people really keep their mech keyboards for more than 10 years, honestly?

$10 amazon ABS keycaps are very likely of poorer quality than the original key caps, but that's not the biggest issue. Logitech uses a non-standard layout on the G610 (and probably other KBs, but I'm no expert). Not only that, but the stem location on some keys is custom. What this means is that you need to retain some of the original keys when swapping caps, and if those particular caps break you're going to have a hard time finding replacements that fit.

There are a couple ancient reddit posts out there detailing how to mix and match sets from other brands in combination with retaining some original caps. https://www.reddit.com/r/Mechanic...rion_g610/

But to anyone thinking about this purchase, I say go for it. It took 10 years for my first keycap to break, and so far I haven't had a single one of the "non standard" keys break. The keybaord doesn't have RGB (thank farking god) and has a fantastic volume roller.

Thanks for chiming in with your experience. I haven't had many keycap issues so the topic is a bit obscure to me, but I had run across them before so I thought I'd bring it up. Although I did once buy a steal of a deal multimedia trackball keyboard with some caps missing, but I had a dead parts donor keyboard in my loft and that squared me away. My favorite multimedia keyboard has been discontinued, so a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to keep em running. There are guys selling Logitech OEM keycaps individually on eBay, but they want an arm and a leg for them. What a racket.

This is me as well. I've had several others, over the years. I think this is still my favorite. That and my DasKeyboard 4Q with brown switches.
