But, they are pretty heavy duty, in my experience.

i have 6 of these, 4 from HF and 2 anvil and pleased with them. even very small washers stay in the bays and dont sneak under the dividers
I only have on-hand experience with HDX [homedepot.com]from Home Depot but photos on different brands look the same except for color and branding (Hyper Tough [walmart.com] from Walmart, maybethis one [amazon.com] from Amazon, and maybe this one [homedepot.com] from HD). If you want them to lock together these types may be the only ones compatible.
I've looked through Harbor Freight's organizers, and even bought their medium [harborfreight.com]and large cases and got decent use out of them, but they do not have latches to lock with my HDX (and they are too wide to stack neatly anyway).
This style organizer has half the case as single-size fixed compartments in a couple different sizes, with the other half the case open, but with tabs to set up your own compartments. As long as the compartments aren't overfilled by weight or volume the lid is flush enough to the compartment walls that parts don't spill into other compartments. The other main type of parts organizer like the Harbor Freight has the case be one open compartment, but with removable bins.
Up to your imagination how you use them, I personally use them to organize usb sticks, shorter cables, and other PC tech knicknacks, and another one as a junk drawer organizer, and I've heard other people use them as a first aid kit. I also used one as a battery organizer, but I moved those to the Harbor Freight bin-style since I could open it up bigger to fit a couple chargers in the same case.
BTW, these cases are just narrow enough to stack neatly in standard size milk crates, if you want to organize while you organize.
