not a great processor. It is good enough imo but effectively 2 generations old.
1. Can confirm it has a touchscreen.
2. Laptop was in a nice zippered soft carry sleeve
3. Laptop looks & feels brand new. No signs of use at all. I went over every part of it, and the only thing I could find was a tiny hairline scratch next one of the feet.
4. Very fast, especially compared to my old 6-gen i5 Thinkpad.
5. Has some bloatware, need to uninstall.
Overall, great value for the money. Very satisfied.

At this price point, these laptops probably won't last that long (10+ years) although this deal does come with 2 year warranty.

Given two laptops for the same price, I definitely pick touch. For my mom, wife, and daughter, I'd pay $40 for touch. For myself, I get the one with the best GPU for the price.

It could probably play most games on "very low" settings, especially from pre-2020.

So either Acer Refurbished is going to send a different laptop entirely that doesn't match the model number or they made a mistake on the overview and will send out the right model with the touchscreen.
Either way, you get free returns.
I bought an Acer refurb i5 laptop last December that has been fine and supposed to be my personal machine. But my kids have been using it too much so I'm getting this one to give them and get my laptop back.
I wish it had a fingerprint reader, but I'll just add a cheap USB one.

I hate Chromebook because it's so limited, the lack of Windows/Super keys and F keys are deal breaker if you want other OS on it
