not a great processor. It is good enough imo but effectively 2 generations old.
1. Can confirm it has a touchscreen.
2. Laptop was in a nice zippered soft carry sleeve
3. Laptop looks & feels brand new. No signs of use at all. I went over every part of it, and the only thing I could find was a tiny hairline scratch next one of the feet.
4. Very fast, especially compared to my old 6-gen i5 Thinkpad.
5. Has some bloatware, need to uninstall.
Overall, great value for the money. Very satisfied.

Despite having a model number, the exact part number of this is NX.KHDAA.004 as stated in the link and according to the official Acer listing of this part number, it has a touch display: https://www.acer.com/us-en/suppor...04/details (go over the 'product details').
Hope this settles the debate, which it shouldn't have been in the first place though because I already clarified and mentioned the link in the 'Community Wiki' section of this post.

All have come in.
The 7520u that I was sent, does NOT have a touchscreen.
The Acer with the i5, I was sent did not have the Ethernet port.
Not sure what Acer is doing but the descriptions were not correct on both the laptops.
That being said.
Acer with the i5 benchmarked and felt the fastest out of all of them.
The Dell has a superior screen and FAR superior speakers.
The Acer 7520u felt ok but was a little sluggish at times even though it has more ram.
I will be keeping the Dell, even with the stupid hinge design, its slimmer, the fan doesn't run as high or loud, doesn't seem to get as hot as both the Acer, and looks and sounds better.

Is this acer laptop better than the dell?
7530u is proper ryzen5 (hex core) and a full Zen generation newer.
