Why are these blades so stupid expensive in general? I'm afraid to use my multitool in general!

"Titanium Nitride Coating" = snake oil.
Don't waste your money... Look for the Diablo carbide version. They're a little more money but last WAY longer. I've got NIB on flea bay for a decent price.

Just search multi tool blades and buy some cheap generic. Lots of choices under a $1 ea. Try and sort the wheat from the chaff as best as possible.

Amazon has a boatload as do other sites. You might get crap quality, but at 15% the cost of name brand, you might find they serve your needs....maybe surpass.

Worth the risk for a one time purchase IMO.

100% agree with this guy. I picked up two name brand blades for $30 and they only lasted a bit longer than my cheap Amazon blades. You can pickup just about shape and size from Amazon for less than $0.50 a blade.

Agreed! If you're doing stuff at home and want generic blades that you have dozens of, then get the cheap ones. If you use power tools for a living, get these instead! Great deal & rep'd!Peace

If they were Carbide, then maybe. I don't see anywhere that they are, and the set from ACE is also cheaper, so I'm sticking w/the Milwaukee deal. Peace

Used to be, needed a new blade on the quick and was surprised at the blade pricing. Amazon/eBay is the way to go if you have the time to wait.

I see your single 7$ blade and raise you 50ยข a blade I somehow doubt that the HF blade will last 14x longer than the Amazon blades.
