No problem with vertigo here, but I have this to say:
I own the previous model Shokz Aeropex (that I love), which have supposedly simply been rebranded as this OpenRun model. Not true, bought an OpenRun set for my mom 4 months back and build+sound quality is markedly worse. Enough that I suspected they might be counterfeit at first. And they just died, won't charge, need to do warranty replacement. Wouldn't buy again.

Have them, love them for mountain biking. Used them for 2hrs today after I left them on since last Sunday and forgot. Pretty decent battery life.

I'm real picky when it comes to headphones. I have owned all sorts. These are not audiophile quality so don't expect that. They are I want to ride my bike and listen to music while still hearing other riders and rattlesnakes quality. For that, they fit the bill nicely.

I think the OpenRun Pro model replaced the Aeropex.

any cheap bone conduction headphones? I love this but I dont want to shell out 90
Just do a search on Amazon, there are many. I have used a couple pair for swimming and the bone conduction works well under the water. Just make sure they have internal storage, as bluetooth signal can be choppy due to water immersion if you swim. The only downside is the media controls. With only a couple buttons and many songs, I just let it shuffle because going to song 72 of 500 can be a lot of clicks.

How…. Does sound coming across the bone cause vertigo? That such an incredibly odd relationship.

Me, too - so severe, I vomited. Though to Shokz credit, they immediately accepted it for return without question when I told them that. I had ordered from them directly.
That's weird but in guess it could happen. I wear these 5 days a week all day long and have for years now. I love them. Most comfy alternative to earbuds or headphones ever!

I have Open Move and use it a lot for meetings.
If my usage is only for meetings, is there any advantage to buy Open Run?

Usually it is indicative of deformative labyrinth canal, probably less than 1 in 25. It could also be linked to wisdom teeth pushing jaws and so on. Blood cancer also causes dizziness and starting point is ear twitching. I am not scaring anyone but it's interesting and you should find a reason when you visit ENT. Again it's a normal vestibular conduction and any ANC headset can do as well, just don't overuse anything.

I have 2 sets one called pro 90 (probably around $40) and another cheap sub $20 pair that say Xi when I Bluetooth pair them. Both were gifts, so I don't know who made them. The Pros are 2 years old, and work really well, stay connected, charge (usbA) quickly etc. The cheap ones have USBC , disconnect if my phone is in my back pocket, or very far away. Sound quality is similar to both, the Pros stay charged a little longer and has easier to use power/stop button. The Pros are not charging correctly now and the cheap ones are about to loose one ear piece.
I get vertigo from any other type of headphones, which is why I have these. They don't bother me.

these things suck, if not absolutely perfectly positioned you cant hear anything, and its nearly impossible to keep them properly positioned. hard pass imo.

How's the sound quality on these vs older models? I got a pair a few years ago. Just wondering if the sound quality has improved over the years.

Might as well pay $10 more and get the blue OpenRun Pros from Best Buy

I own the Open Run and really enjoy them for the workplace. You wont get the music fidelity of in / over ear headphones but they're just fine for podcasts and passive listening, while being able to still be at the bosses beck and call...

This thing gives me vertigo. I don't ever get vertigo. I tried it again months later.... World spins within an hour after I take them off.
Same thing here - returned mine. It's very disorienting. Just went with Sony Linkbuds with the opening instead.

I have and really like the Areopex (which it sounds like these replace) for running. I am tempted to get a second pair. I will say that I forgot to bring them on a trip recently and bought a janky pair off of Amazon to hold me over. They did fine for a couple of uses, but can tell there is a difference in build quality and how they sat on my head. Basically you're paying for the better quality that is noticeable in my opinion.

What's the difference between these and the Pro/Premium? Besides $10...

Yes, thanks! Only in Blue but that's a pretty good deal at 35 bucks off Amz's price. Ordered 3!
