No problem with vertigo here, but I have this to say:
I own the previous model Shokz Aeropex (that I love), which have supposedly simply been rebranded as this OpenRun model. Not true, bought an OpenRun set for my mom 4 months back and build+sound quality is markedly worse. Enough that I suspected they might be counterfeit at first. And they just died, won't charge, need to do warranty replacement. Wouldn't buy again.

Have them, love them for mountain biking. Used them for 2hrs today after I left them on since last Sunday and forgot. Pretty decent battery life.

I'm real picky when it comes to headphones. I have owned all sorts. These are not audiophile quality so don't expect that. They are I want to ride my bike and listen to music while still hearing other riders and rattlesnakes quality. For that, they fit the bill nicely.

I think the OpenRun Pro model replaced the Aeropex.

Battery on my open moves is getting weak after using it for a year or so. They work so well otherwise and use usb c, so I'll give them another chance. Will be scouting cheaper options too, as I wasn't expecting to need to replace them every year or so.

I've had the OpenRun mini for a year now and love them. Initially purchased to take snowboarding, tired of doing the 1 speaker on/other off or just having low volume and these fit under my helmet and I can have it loud enough but still hear people coming up from behind.
These don't work for cutting grass/loud stuff like that but I have other headphones. Really like them for work and taking calls. If/when these die I'll prob give the Open Fits a try so I can use them while laying down

I had great luck with their warranty service. The microphone on my Openrun wasn't picking up well so I opened a ticket and after collecting my serial number and proof of purchase, they sent me a new brand new replacement and let me keep the old one (whose speakers still sounds great).

I previously had an Aftershokz Air, and I found the Shokz Openrun a nice all-round improvement. I will probably upgrade again in another year.

these things suck, if not absolutely perfectly positioned you cant hear anything, and its nearly impossible to keep them properly positioned. hard pass imo.
I've not had the issue you're experiencing with mine.

I have had my aeropex for a couple years now. I have not run into any problems with placement. When I put them on they go into position without me having to do anything.

They are great for what they are designed to do. At the office I need to be able to hear things around me, but also want to be able to listen to music or a podcast. Also having something in my ear for long periods becomes uncomfortable.

If you are an audiophile and are expecting to get some get lost in the music experience, these are not the headphone for you. If you are active and need to be able to enjoy listening to something, but also need to have the ability to hear what is happening around you, these are a fantastic option.

I have ordered a set of the openrun pro's as it is my understanding that they are the aeropex replacements, not the standard openruns. I do not know what the difference is between them, but if they are as good as my aeropex I will be happy. This way I can have a set at the office and a set at home.

Remember that you can still cause hearing loss with these even though they do not go in or over the ear, at least that is why my audiologist says.
