It's basically Quality and guaranteed performance when you're transporting or carrying things worth thousands of dollars. And/or security if you're carrying items that need to be locked vs other cases where you just twist the lock and the plastic cracks off. I agree they are pricey but sometimes necessary. .

This is almost exactly what I was looking for in a hard case configuration. And agreed, much better deal than the original deal but it's only available for a limited time as a B&H Deal Zone deal.
I thought HF did away with most of their coupons?
I ended up getting a rifle case and 2 pistol cases and they feel like I can toss them off my 40 foot roof and what's in them will be fine.
As people will suggest, plasti dip the foam after you pluck.
