YMMV. For those with Amex cards, check if you have $120 off $599 Dell offer. If yes, order the Slim, another controller, and small filler (like Doom64 for $5, that I'll never use) to reach $600 after taxes.

With $120 off $599 offer, plus 3% Amex cashback, plus 15% CB, if I sell the extra controller for $40, it is cheaper than this Target offer. And the PS5 at Dell is the new Slim model with disc drive and comes with Spiderman 2!

A normal customer won't be able to get it as it is very likely now in the pickups area in the back room. However an employee can still get it for himself or by mistake grab it for another customer. The pickup area where they keep the orders is usually near the customer service area but some stores have it at the same place where the normal electronics stuff gets stored at. If that is the case then an employee might grab it by mistake thinking is normal stock. I have also seen people grabbing things straight from the employee's cart while the employee is still picking up other items.

I would say you have 99% chance of getting it though as the above is not that common to happen.

I mean if people had reserved it online and the stock get sold I wonder if that increases likely hood of them honoring it on the Slim bundle version. Obviously YMMV. I guess you could make the case that it was in stock and you received order confirmation that it was sold to you and a pending charge was placed on your CC. Not your fault the store sold it to someone else.

I can see them matching it given base non-sale price is the same.

I'm right about what I said the store I got 2 from not too long after updated to no longer sold at store. Limited availability I believe they either have bundles or consoles available. Either way you can't order the console only online but have a chance to call stores around you that are limited availability to see.

Just got back from picking mine up. Easy peasy. However, I could not possibly have been more wrong in thinking the madness would be over by 11:30am. The entire city was at Target.
