It should be 20% on Monday if the history holds up.
No, maybe you scored if they don't have a deal on Monday, nobody knows but they have increased it on Cyber Monday for the last few years..
....let's hope CITI stick to the same routine.

at this market, where i get 4.6% interest from my online bank, i prefer redeem them to cash to my account as soon as they posted, instead of hoarding them for once a year deal. i still think 15% from amazon/target are better deals, since we can get the amount immediately & buy something from apple store. if you have any points, then its good deal though. just my 2 cents.

Citi point can worth 1.5 cents per point, even at 20% off you still redeemed at ~1 cents/point.
Should consider use it Airlines
What do you do if you do not fly like me?

The operative word is "can"... Every point redemption thread gets people all riled up about NOT using them for travel. Every time I tried the options of using my points (UR, ThankYou, etc) for travel, they came up short due to the strict nature or our travel plans (kids, schools, two full-time jobs with limited vacation time, etc). One size doesn't fit all.

plus i do not fly and then i look at hotels and my rate code is better then citi's codes so the gift cards work for me saves me the cash since like you said Travel is not that easy as some think to use.

Well crap... I just did $1k of gift cards at 15% off and not 15 minutes later I see that it will likely be 20% off on Monday.

Any options for me?
I did $800 yesterday when I stumbled on the GC sale on Citi. Oh well. I guess I've still got 450k points to blow.

So I said should consider. This is not too much value consider you can get Apple gift card ~ 15% off, you can just redeem to cash instead of some gift cards unless you gonna buy something from Apple directly which I can only think of customized Macbook.

Have you checked how many airlines are part of their transfer network? JetBlue and that's it lol. Citi points are worthless for transfer

...or newly released iPhones. I don't do 24-month credit type deals, since I have a great grandfathered plan with T-mobile and won't touch it under any circumstance.

This is my quandary as well. I don't fly. So the best option I usually see is discounted gift cards where they end up slightly over 1 penny per.
