It should be 20% on Monday if the history holds up.
No, maybe you scored if they don't have a deal on Monday, nobody knows but they have increased it on Cyber Monday for the last few years..
....let's hope CITI stick to the same routine.

Wait… people really do this and don't use the points for airlines partners? I see so many good comments here regarding the airlines partners that go ignored. Points are worth so much more when transferred to airlines (not using travel portal)

Thank you OP! Was waiting for this. I'm an Apple employee so this plus our discount is a great double dip! 🏆

How many gift cards can be used in apple employee purchase portal?

To those suggesting that points are worth more for travel: yes, you are correct, but ONLY if you have a "premium" Citi Credit Card (i.e. annual fee). For those of us without such a card, the only airline you can transfer to is Jet Blue, and with a very poor transfer ratio at that . So, if 20% does come to fruition on Cuber Monday, this would be a very good deal for many of us.

No need for blanket statements... if it works for you, great! Enjoy your flight and vacation. It doesn't mean that it would work for everyone; there are as many other comments in this thread explaining why not.

Yup.... just verified this. My only airline option to transfer points is JetBlue. Thanks for the clarification (repped).

I see you in every CC point redemption thread with useful information like this. You must be single or have no kids to be able to take advantage of point conversions via airline transfers for personal flights. Smilie

Why? My spouse and I have never had issue finding 2 reward tickets on any given flight... and a number of times we've even gotten 4 when travelling with another couple so an avg. number of kids shouldn't be that hard either...

I suppose if you've got 6 kids or something it'd be tricky in business class, there's rarely more than 4 seats available there for international, and sometimes only 2.... (domestic I've seen as many as 7 open seats in biz, and coach is usually no issue though the value isn't as good while still being better than this deal).

Again many of us like me DO NOT FLY

The person to whom I was replying was literally talking about having booked airfare and being unclear how to get more value from it-- so obviously they fly and my reply directly addressed that.

I mean a lot of people don't buy apple products either but didn't see much need to raise that point. But obviously if you never travel at all then travel deals aren't for you.

Oh- yeah if you don't have a Citi travel card you can't get the good travel transfers.

But why wouldn't you have one if you travel? The higher value in point transfers alone would be worth it, not to mention the various other credits and benefits.... the Premier card for example is $95/yr but comes with a $100 hotel credit (so already $5 profitable if you use the hotel credit), PLUS adds 24 months to the warranty of anything you buy with it (a benefit they removed from "free" citi cards), earns 3x points on airlines, hotels, gas stations, restaurants and supermarkets- and unlocks all the other travel partners for transfers.....

1:1 for every airline on the list doesn't seem hot? When you can redeem those airline miles for significantly more in most cases than the 1.1 to 1.15 cents a point gift cards get you? (Again you need one a premier card to do that though--- or a prestige if you're lucky enough to have one since you can't get them new anymore)
The hotel transfer rates vary- but none of those are ever worth using anyway-- only flex points worth using for hotel transfers are Chase points to Hyatt where you can usually get 2-3 cents a point in value.

The problem is not the number of kids (I have 2), it's their schedules... and coordinating their schedules with our schedule for the summer. It was a lot easier when they were little and didn't have a ton of commitment, activities, etc going on during "vacation" months. Stuff is way too fluid to book a flight in advance, etc. Again, more power to you that you could transfer points and enjoy international business class travel with your wife.

Which store/brand lets you use "their" gift cards at another store?

They seem to be asking if they can use them AT apple to buy GCs for OTHER stores.

Which is commonly a thing you can do at many other places (Best Buy, most office supply stores, costco, walmart, many large gas stations, etc)....it can be a solid way to do things like max out high-reward credit card categories.... like I don't buy things at gas stations generally, but when Chase has 5x UR for gas station spend I can go buy amazon and other gift cards at a gas station and get the 5x on them.

Though I personally doubt you can do it at Apple, can't recall ever seeing a giftcard wall for other brands there like you do that the places I mention.

Yes. I listed all the airlines a few hours ago in this thread.. And another user posted a direct link to the list of airlines less than 30 minutes ago, 4 posts above your question.

that was my post but it shows differently when i log on to my citi double cash account. it gives 4 option choice privileges, jetblue trueblue, shop your way and wyndham rewards. that why i ask if the citi preimer has other airline. if it does, i will probably apply it in the future.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's something that I'd look into for sure... CITI "really" wants me to convert my good 'ol ThankYou card into Premier repeatedly offering to waive the first year's fee Smilie

Your link, near the top, has this:
Learn more: Points Transfer FAQs.

If you click on that on that page the second question is about who can transfer where, and describes the cards that can transfer to everyone on the list (including Premier cards) and the ones that can only transfer to a short specific list (like your doublecash)

Don't fall for it. You don't get a signup bonus that way- open a new card for the bonus.
