DnD noob here. Is this a campaign adventure I can run characters through, or is this a stand-alone board game? I'm confused by Amazon's description, and the reviews don't seem to answer this question either.

I had the original Dragonlance boardgame:

It was massive and ahead of its time for games with dozens of pieces and complex rules. Could never get anyone to play with me. Not even my RPG group because we met infrequently and would rather do a session of tabletop then play a board game.

This looks like a good price (relative) but I also can't speak to it's quality.
