Just ordered. I have the service already in Los Angeles for $40 a month - and it works great! A T-Mobile rep said I could get this deal for $30 a month with the TV. All I have to do is add a new home internet line and once I get the new modem/router then I suspend my old $40 a month home internet line for 90 days, which costs $10 to suspend. Then, after the 90 days, I can cancel my old line. But that locks me into $30 a month for life with this new line of home internet service and I get the TV! Hope that helps others who already have this internet service.

I have tmobile home internet because I can't get fiber/cable where I live. If you live out in the country like me, its amazing sompared to the other options. I regularly get 300mbps down. It also regularly slows down significantly, sometimes under 20mbps, and the tmobile unit regularly crashes and has to be restarted. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has access to cable/fiber at their address unless they already have a tmobile cell line and really need that $30 rate over reliable internet. The issue isn't average overall speed, its reliability of both the hardware and speed at a particular time. Also there are weird quirks like it gives me an IP address a thousand miles away.

Online they're trying to sell it to me for $50 so I chatted with a human (I know, this is taboo buuut...) they said they'd give it to me for $30 a month. Still chatting with them right now so we'll see if this is 100% legit.
Ask them how long you have to keep it active for to get the free TV please Smilie

how long do I have to keep it active to get the free tv?
Me - 8:07 AM

Okay so I would not be able to add the deal for $30/month to her current internet. It needs to be on a new "line" of internet. You just need to keep it for 30 days.

There you go boss, fresh from the horse's mouth. Wink

Why do you have to suspend the first line instead of canceling?

If you have cancelled lines in past 90 days, you may need to reactivate them first.

I'd love to know how they calculate eligible addresses. We have 5g here, but every promo I check and they don't offer the home Internet at my service location.
It isn't just that 5G is available. T-Mobile has to determine that there's enough capacity on the site serving your address.

Thanks, so for those with current home internet (mine if $50/month), we should add the new line, receive and activate the new equipment, then call tmobile to suspend the old line for 90 days, then cancel that line after 90 days?

I have cox internet 300. Could this replace thst, we do a lot of streaming and have a lot of devices connect. Also, can you take it on vacation with you. We are going to Mexico in January, could it be used there?
It isn't just an issue of speed but also latency. T-Mobile is going to have higher latency. You'll mainly notice this if you game. For streaming, you should be fine. However, you're going to likely experience more variations in the speed of your connection throughout the day.

In terms of using it in Mexico, you won't be able to. Theoretically, you aren't supposed to be able to use it on any site besides the one serving your address. That's not strictly enforced, but international roaming is definitely not allowed.

Yeah, $100 cheaper. Seems too good to be true.
I have used Tmobile home internet for over a year now. I live in Yorba Linda, Orange county area. We got constant 200mbs speed when compared with spectrum. I signed up when it was only 25$ a month.
