I ordered one $100 Carls Jr gift card. It shows $51.50 with $50 off and $1.50 shipping fee. Once I clicked purchase button, the total amount in the confirmation became $101.5 for a $100 gift card! There is no discount at all. and I saw the $101.5 pending transaction in my credit card account. It's my first and only purchase.

I called the gift card customer support, the representative oversea first told me that promotion starts from 11/28 so I am not eligible, that's why I was charged for full price. I told him that the black Friday promotion on the website states valid from 11/24 to 11/27. After a few minutes on hold, he told me that when i use the card i will receive at Carls Jr store, I will receive item 50% off there. wtf. I told him just cancel my order and refund me. He said he could not cancel the order, the only thing he can do is create a ticket for his management team, my order cancellation still upon management approval.

What a mess.

Fwiw, ordered 2x $100 gift cards on 11/24. Received 2x $100 gift cards last week or so.

Didn't make any stink about it for reference.

None of the cards are accepted in multiple locations. They'll automatically get canceled within the app. ROFL

@LVNeptune said something similar on pg 33 of this thread about stores not accepting. Many reviews indicate ppl having this problem with other retailer's gcs processed by buyatab. The trusting and naive side of me would just assume employee error/incompetence. The cautious and street smart side of me? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Do your due diligence ppl and don't just assume you are in the clear if your gc currently has appropriate balances. Look at those reviews; their track record does not look great.

Tried 1 of my $100 gift cards today from app it worked. While picking up at counter there was a cockroach walking on the floor. Will let everyone know if I get the squirts.

Received my 2 x $100 cards. Balances are correct. Where do you load them in the app? I'm not seeing a place for them? Maybe you do an app order and then add them under payment?

Looks like the Carl's jr app has gift card options at checkout. However, Hardee's app doesn't. ☹️

Ordered on 11/24. Got the cards today, never contacted them or anything. Checked the cards on the app and they loaded just fine.

I used my $100 gc at the drive thru yesterday. The guy must have swiped it 7 or 8 times and couldn't get it to work. He finally brought someone over and they were able to push it through.

Got to try out my gift card this past Friday at a Carl's Jr in Vancouver, WA. The card was swiped and the charges went through smoothly. The receipt also automatically showed the remaining balance on the card. Reading all the posts here for the past 5 pages here, I thought the odds were against me that my card would work. It did. Touché!
