I hate that it says the guitar's original price is $550 while it's never been more expensive than $330 and has regularly been $300.

Good to know. Msrp can be misleading.

I bought it for the same price 2 months ago. So I'd buy another one, but let's see a $20 price decrease!

I bought the non-bigsby version last time and it's awesome.

I don't think that statement is accurate. These guitars were first released over 4 years ago. I'm quite sure they sold at msrp when first released.

How well does this work unplugged as an acoustic?

Semi-hollows are slightly louder than solid bodies but nowhere near a true acoustic guitar.

Just got it in the mail, have yet to setup and play, but wanted to pass along two things. 1) It's not green… More like a nice blue gray. 2) The gig bag it comes with, doesn't fit the guitar.

You'll be able to hear what you're playing louder than on a solidbody but you certainly won't want to show off wonderwall at a party on just this.

Bought this guitar in 2019 and it's been great. Neck is comfy, had no problem transitioning from a strat to this.

can't say about those, I've had the super big full hollowbody and it sounded very nice unplugged. the only downside to those big guitars are they're more of a handful than smaller guitars, and also some kids and teenagers may not be able to reach everything. strings potentiometer controls whammy bar etc etc.

Mine was a korean made, swapped the stock pickups out for tv jones classic humbuckers. it sound really warm, soft on your ears, and i have always noticed that Gretsch has pretty much the most beautiful lineup of classic guitar shapes/sizes available anywhere. what's nicer looking than a les paul? gretsch electromatic with bigsby. what's the equal to Gibson mickey mouse ears like bb king play? those big honking full hollowbody guitars from Gretsch. and man the color choices they offer are spectacular. Buy them new and you'll be happy, buy them used and you'll feel the smartest best guitar shopper in the entire world EEK!ApplausePeace

What's the difference between the t and non-t version.
