Can someone speak to the higher input lag on this display and impact to gaming? Is it going to really be noticable or no? Ty
If you're using game mode then no I doubt you'll notice. Just be sure you're using HDMI ports 3 or 4 and enhanced HDMI format enabled under external input settings.

Yeah, there's been controversy on this. Some say LG WOLED, some say Samsung QD-OLED. I talked to a rep at one Best Buy and he said he talked to an LG rep and confirmed it used an LG WOLED panel, while I talked to another rep at a different Best Buy and he assured me it is a Samsung QD-OLED panel. 🤷 Others have shown pictures that the subpixel structure is actually QD-OLED (in the US). The 83" is definitely LG WOLED though.

I bought one and will see for myself next week.
Awesome! Definitely let us know. If it's truly a QD OLED panel then that'll be fantastic. I haven't seen any reputable reviews regarding either model. It's like Samsung didn't send out review samples or TV reviewers have moved onto the 2024 models. I also find it weird that LG didn't come out with an announcement that they developed QD OLED panels as well. Either way, time will tell.

I would go OLED man, it's just better and less failure points for long term.
Nothing against OLED but less failure points?! Hogwash!

OLED is way too hyped! Love it, and recommend it for sure, but it's not always a win.

This might have been the best deal of this year's black friday/cyber monday for a mid-high range TV, best value-wise. I knew it the moment it was posted so I added it to my WM cart that very moment. I think the LG C2 from last year was slightly better though.
Was curious and asking what the LG C2 deal was from last year, what was the size and cost of that TV?

This or the 77" lg b3 from bestbuy for $1800? I was planning on buying the s90c from Samsung but they increased the price to 2249 from $1900
Ummm. 900 vs 1900??? Frankly this whole thread is so full of misinformation, ridiculous questions, and with so many recent deal threads in past few weeks with excellent commentary, GO READ them! Never thought I'd become the grumpy poster, but finally understand the years of moderators, and attitude - it's all very justifiable. Lazy folks out there, and even moreso considering we have Bard, Bing, GPT now. Any asking to compare a TV that cost 2 or 3x more needs to be ignored.

Solid deal. But I must say, if you're considering OLED... It's worth waiting and splurging a tad more on a good OLED deal. My God the depth is stunning

I see several people are asking about this same question, but nobody answer it so far. Anyway, I purchased a 4 year warranty with it just in case. Too bad, a lot of my credit cards does not have extended warranty anymore.

This or the 65 inch x90l for $100 bucks more? Primary usage is watching soccer and streaming TV shows with little to no gaming.

Can you schedule a delivery? I'm going to out of town this weekend and would prefer to have it delivered when I get back the following week.
It's freight so you'll eventually get a call to schedule delivery

I concur here. To add on, i suggest to get a certed hdmi cable to run the rated 4K 120 Hz bandwidth using game mode and enhenced hdmi format.
