The C3 series never had MLA. All the G3 sizes except the 83" have MLA.
LG doesn't make any QD-OLED at all.
It's the same. Dude doesn't know what he's talking about.

I bought this tv for $4k yesterday. It came with the CPS accident warranty for 4 years and a $400 Visa gift card.

After some thought, I think it's still somewhat of an even exchange if not slightly better than this deal. The CPS accident warranty covers burn-in and other accidental damage. Most additional warranties, such as the Allstate warranty through Costco, does not cover burn-in. Those warranties are effectively extension of the manufacturer's warranty and cover premature death of the set (e.g., hardware issues). I haven't looked into Squaretrade, but I feel at ease that while I didn't save $600 up front, I'm getting $400 back as a Visa gift card, and 4 years of the CPS accident protection.

Rtings has run burn-in studies on all kinds of OLEDs and the burn-in risks are the lowest in WOLED panels, which is what this is. Also, the burn-in mitigation algorithm works the best in LGs, less so in Sonys and worst in Samsungs per their findings.

The Samsung S90C fanboys will hate to hear this, but the very nature of QD-OLED technology and associated pixels configurations makes those panels more susceptible to burn-ins.

Heck of a deal. Buy now think later. Hasn't been released that long and now a nice price cut.
Many shills here. This isn't 2022, very different macro environment.

PS5s are going for $350 at 🎯, you do the math & figure out how much cheaper this should be.

This or the 77" b3 at half the price. I'm coming from a 42" so think 77" and "save" the difference. The size difference will be negligible?
The way tv screens are measured, the difference so not be negligble.

Well hate to tell you but realistically you would get degrading oled pixels and black dots on your screen before you get noticeably bothersome burn in. Unless you are watching the news 24/7 like the rtings test. That is the reality.

You are correct. I have the 77" B2 and it's FKNG HUGE! You won't regret it, don't FOMO into the slightly larger, unnecessary size.

I can confirm this, I saw the same study. Makes sense, LG has been doing OLED longer, so of course they're better at mitigating burn in. DUH! 🤦🏽😂

However, the value sweet spot is the B3, not this. You're welcome.
