Your opinion has some validity, BUT I know people with good use cases or just like blowing their money on stuff they like. Either way, 25% off is 25% off. Don't like, don't buy.

Solostove.com also has a "25% off two or more accessories" deal, which can work out to be a better deal if you have coupons, rewards points, or want to buy other accessories (such as the carrying bag for this heat deflector, which you can effectively get for just a few dollars more if you stack the right offers).

Well maybe not completely like they lose $ or break even on the base units but they definitely want to get you started with base model so they force you to buy more

YouTube diy heat deflectors are made from aluminum trash and some even tell you to use galvanized steel for legs and hardware—utterly moronic. Go with stainless steel always.

The razor model is where they deliberately sell you something at a loss to make up for it in recurring revenue. Like game consoles when they first come out. They don't mind selling you an $800 Xbox for $499, because at some point, you'll buy hundreds in games, and services.


Solostove doesn't exactly fit that model.
