I bought this the other day - picking it up today. Seems to be the best bang for your buck currently if you need a smaller safe.

although asked my wife about it and she said to get the bigger one, that way I can buy more freedom tools...

I bought this 36 gun back in the summer for $699 and I'm already out of room. Spend the extra $200 it's a great deal

I picked one of these up a few years back and have been very pleased with it. I too got it on sale then, but I still paid more than this.

I installed a surge protector/strip in mine, for things such as a dehumidifier and such. I also put in one of the motion-activated light kits that can be found on Amazon. - I HIGHLY recommend them as they work great. (See attached pic)

Also, as some here have mentioned… always get the 'larger' of the safes that you might be considering: all of us can guarantee that you'll *still* wish you had gone even bigger. It never fails laugh out loud

I got the 36 and beasted it out of my truck myself. I did consider 2 of the smaller ones for the mobility aspect. But couldn't find 2 in stock anywhere and am happy with the bigger one.

Bought the 36 earlier this year. No complaints at all. It seemed to go on sale for ~550 for a week on/week off pretty regularly.

It's legitimately 500-600 pounds but I was able to unload it and move it around on a hand truck by myself - just not up any stairs.
