Vizio owner here, I bought the Vizio 55' inch MQ7 last Nov from Walmart during their BF sale for $299. It's actually my first QLED TV, the 27 dimming zones with up to 600 nit brightness really make it a great set for steaming Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ content on Netflix and Prime Video.

The V series is actually the worst of these 3. In terms of quality MQX > MQ7 > MQ6 > V series. With MQ6 you get QLED quantum colors but that set has no local dimming zones.

I also use the set for gaming on PS5 and love it! No problems with the TV set so far almost 1 year in!

Vizio has also rolled out a complete overhaul of its smart TV interface, and from what we've seen it both looks and works very much like one of the best streaming services, including Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV.
Hey guys! Trying to decide between a Range Rover and a Honda Civic. Can you help me decide?
I bought 3 Vizios back around the 2015-2018 period and only 1 of them is still functional. Other 2 died after only a few years. I'm on the no Vizio bandwagon now as well.

Have been watching for a good deal on a TV this black Friday. Anyone knows which one has been the best so far, even if the deal is dead? Just want to get a reference.

Check out this website called Rtings.com, no that's not a typo.

They do TV reviews and give you a break down of the metrics

Thanks you guys. Now I'm trying to decide between OLED or QLED.

OLED seems to be the best interns of contrast giving better blacks. In terms of color gamut and vividness not sure which one of the two provides better performance. I'm just amazed out how expensive the OLED TVs still are. Not sure if the price difference is worth paying the extra money.

I'd be wary of modern Vizios. I bought an open box MQX and while I don't have any complaints with the tv after a few months, it appears their software updates are frequently bricking TVs. I keep my tv itself air gapped and stream via an Xbox.

Has there really been a good BF deal on TV especially OLED ? It's been really bleak this Black friday as far as good deals go on TVs.

If you need to be economical or are not very particular about TV quality then Vizio is fine. I've been there and owned one that lasted about 3y before stopped turning on. I went on to buy a Sony OLED and can say that I'll never ever buy a Vizio again.

If you can afford better I HIGHLY recommend that you skip on Vizio.

Eh the M6 series is Walmarts special Black Friday tv. It's not really an M series tv. Missing key features so don't go thinking you're getting an actual M series
