600 volts at 10 amps for solar wire Also great for running led landscape lights only issue with the wire is when you terminate the ends it will oxidize if you don't use greese capps on the connections

You're conflating "plenum" with anything inside a wall. A plenum specifically refers to a space designated to facilitate air flow as part of a HVAC system. So, unless you're planning to run the cable through your duct system or other plenums, plenum-rated cable is not "required". Typically the only rating you'd need for running in-wall residential applications is CL2.

Pretty solid deal. I paid $70 for 200' of the same specs amazon basics cable earlier this year. Would've bought this instead.

I am not sure if this is rated for in wall applications. I do not see any rating on the wire description. I did not know earlier when I ran my speaker wire in the wall that the wire needed a certain rating. If it can be buried can it also be run in the wall?

In wall "requires" plenum, in case of fire.
Having said that, I'm . . .

I just started learning about ham. Thanks for the tip. I'll be grabbing this deal. Any reference links to diy antennas you'd recommend?

There's no functional difference between them. All that matters for wire is:
  • gauge
  • material
  • sheathing

This is pure copper, at 14AWG, in a jacket rated for direct burial. You could use this to power outdoor low-voltage devices as well as speakers. (Lack of plenum makes this likely against code for indoor use.) You could even push serious amperage (i.e. 12V/15A electrical current) through this wire, but again, code requires almost all electrical runs include a true ground, and speaker wire only ever has two wires inside of it, so it's generally not recommended for anything but low voltage.

Speaker wire is also (generally) stranded vs. solid, and while that doesn't change the capabilities of the wire very much, it's much harder to work with stranded wire (IMO) for electrical applications, because you really, really don't want any part of that wire shrugging loose.
