There's not much of a point in getting the hd 650 when the Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX semi-regularly go on sale between $169 to $189. The hd 6xx is for all intents and purposes a different colored hd650 with a worse included cable, the build quality and sound signature are essentially identical. Spending an extra $100 for the hd650 is just a waste of money.
The hd 6xx are currently on sale for $179, and if you sign up as a new customer you get a $10 coupon. It was down to $169 just a day or two ago for black friday.
