I'm wondering if you might be better off buying a usb printer cable too just in case the wifi connection doesn't work.. according to what canon posted when someone asked about it canon said quote "Hi! You can connect your imageCLASS D570 to your computer via a standard A-to-B USB cable which is available separately. We hope this helps!

Here's the instruction manual amazon posted.. looking at page 382 it would appear you can connect an ethernet cable (presumably to help you out with printing over the internet?) as well as a usb cable to it

Here's a review from PCMag that mentions the printer automatically prints double sided (both sides of the page) unless you change that setting in the "print driver interface"

if I understand page 92 of the user manual correctly I think you can set it once to print one sided only and just leave it alone and it would (hopefully) just print one sided (instead of on both sides of the paper) after that
