Prices have definitely been coming down on certain things. Seems like cereal is one of them.

Whole grain wheat, raisins, and cane sugar. This is just sugar cereal.

Sticking to Alpen, Uncle Sam, or Ezekiel 4:9 cereals.

Servings are 3/4 cup instead of a whole cup, which is a bit of deceptive marketing. With 13 grams of sugar for 3/4 cup, that gives you about !7.33 grams per cup, not counting the milk, which isn't the worst sugar cereal around, if you're not diabetic, like a lot of us old farts who grew up eating pounds of sugar a day. Keep in mind, a dry measured level cup isn't much. When I used to eat sugary cereal for dessert, I would fill up a bowl with probably two or three cups of cereal, add sugar and milk. Probably why I'm diabetic these days.

Not a bad price. After clicking the link, Amazon reminded me I paid $1.66 for the same item back in Aug 21 (previous SD).

This is one of my favorite cereals. My tip, add more raisins to make it even better.

The Quaker cereal is a favorite of mine, but I am changing because they are using genetically modified grain (frankenfood isn't a good idea), and also it gives horrible gas. I think it is the tocopherols. According to what I have found online Great Grains is non GMO and does not contain tocopherols..... experience is it doesn't give gas. I am sorry Quaker chose this path.
