"Amazon prime members will receive an additional 5% off."

What does this mean exactly? I have Amazon Prime, but didn't see this offer. If you're referring to the 5% back from the prime credit card, that's something different.

This is a decent deal, but waiting for a good deal on the U7K.

Interesting. I may have to give this a serious look. Do Hinsense units generally hold up long term?

The one that I got broke before I could actually watch it, don't try to reposition it with your thumb anywhere near the side screen....

This works for Amex cardholders. It applies to any large purchase item on eligible Amazon products. I almost got 60 bucks off a 500 tv until I chickened out. I had 7.50 in rewards which would have been taken off as well as the 50.

This thing is amazing. Just bought from Best Buy and setup a few days ago. The black is so black… I'm blown away. Trying it for some PC gaming (the main reason I bought it) tonight.

Edit: I had concern with the narrow viewing angle of this VA panel. You can obviously just do the math, but ours is installed dead center on a 16 ft wide room - zero color distortion anywhere relevant in the room.

I have the U7G from 2 years ago, it's amazing for the price. Deep blacks, sharp picture and the main thing for our living room, it gets very bright to fight glare. The H and now the K are only better in all aspects. Our older Samsung 120hz LEDs we have look significantly worse after getting the G.

Nope. Obviously depends on your specific intended use as they're both very similar, but my experience, the tech specs, and the rtings assessment gives a slight edge to the Hisense. My specific use is general PC gaming and movies.

rtings comparison here (8.5 vs 8.3 overall): https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...7973/38181

This, the the Samsung Q90T deal from Walmar, or the Sony X85K?

I have a U8G from 2020. Been using it daily for work and gaming and it's been great so far. I recommend this U8 model. It's great for the money.

I have last years model and it's an awesome all around….. EXCEPT in certain scenes the banding is very noticeable particularly in landscapes and gradient backgrounds.

What's your experience with that on the new one? Don't get me wrong even with what I said about banding I WANT to pull the trigger for this but if that didn't improve, I was going to spend more on a Samsung s90C, Sony 93L, or a C3 or compromise with a 90L for 1000

Ps: Flawless PS5 support though!
