if you go to "turn off recurring billing" it gives you the option to downgrade your account.(Reddit source with someone saying it worked 4 months ago)

It is 2:3 now but I bought 2 years of xbl and 1 month of ultimate paid around 70 for 17 months

I signed up for 14 day xbox game pass ultimate trial, but now I can't use the 1 month eneba code. Is step 6 and 7 mutually exclusive?
If you want to cloud game then yes Ultimate would allow that

In any cause, step 7 is unnecessary and should be eliminated. Once you sign up for the 14 day trial of Game Pass Ultimate in step 6, your Core subscription should be upgraded / converted into Ultimate.
