idk, the speakers on my bedroom tv point to the wall. at least this would direct them to my face listening holes. Also Im hoping that it evens out the audio a bit....my tv has the dialogue super quiet and the gunshots/explosions are stupid loud.



Ive been drinking so im going to try the little one.

Reviews look decent. Got the $39 one for my RV. Figure anything is an improvement over the horrible speakers.

I have an Insignia (NS-HSB318) similar to the $39 sound bar from BestBuy for the past 3 years as my home office speakers for conference calls. Decent speakers.

Occassionally connect it to my Mi Box over BT for some streaming as well. Works well. Good for the price.

These are 2 channel (stereo) soundbars which is what your TV has. If you want to hear dialogue better, you will need a 3 channel soundbar. Save your money imo

I used a cheap TauTronics sound bar for years and it was a lot better than my TV speakers. These cheap sound bars aren't going to blow you away, but they're definitely an upgrade from a lot of stock TV sound. Can't speak for this specific brand, but I'm getting this for some friends of mine for Xmas because they have a crappy TV with crappy speakers.

I have the same one on the same deal 3 years ago.

It sounds better than most crappy sounding tvs. But not my new Hisense.

Mostly i use it for Bluetooth music from my phone because a/c powered speakers are much stronger sounding than those portable Bluetooth speakers (hint hint)

My question is - are the newer ones better sounding ? I'd happily buy the $39 one to upgrade my perfectly working 3 year old one
