I have the hoover smartwash pet from Walmart that does a pretty good job but I'm wondering if this is worth the upgrade.

I usually go rent it from Home Depot or Lowe's. It's a huge unit to keep in the house. It does a fantastic deep cleaning.

I've jad one for 7 years.... it is a commercial unit so they sell every part as replacements and it is easy to disassemble(its made to repair instead of throw away)... I went through 3 250 dollar non commercial units before I broke down and spent 450 on this unit(so 270 is a crazy deal)

Bought one of these six years ago and it's paid for itself many times over. Highly recommend if you have any carpet.

Note: fill with warm water and not scalding hot - hot water will break one of the seals over time and it's a ~$20 replacement part.

That thing is a toy compared to the BGM. Having a siberian husky, I've owned many vacuums and carpet cleaners, and this thing was worth every penny.

Great unit. Needed one over the summer and couldn't wait for this annual sale. No regrets even after paying full price.

If you pay for professional cleaning but are trying to be more thrifty and have a strong back (especially if you have stairs) then this is a great deal!

The price is solid. I paid $250 pre pandemic and this machine really does great work. Only drawback is storing it, however 2-3 uses and the machine paid for it self.

It is a monster in both the good and the bad way. It's big and heavy but built to use and use and... I use a rechargeable headlamp attached to illuminate the dirty water channel to see that the dirty water is being sucked up. Sometimes I don't quite get a good seal on the vacuum and this helps a lot.
I would buy this again.
