Well, in my opinion, to pay $900 for only 6 inches more for the same brand is overpriced
Those 6 inches equates to 400 square inches more of screen size.

True. However, $900 is way too much to pay ... in my opinion
it's due to economies of scale. how big lcd panel start up, how efficiently they can be cut from 1 panel, then the rest.. and worst, shipping, for that size increase, u could be looking at extra $100 in shipping, for example...

we saw same issue 4-5 years ago between 65 and 77

This SHARK code is very selective, I wonder if I ask super nicely if Iconian could tell me if it will ever apply for the 65" G3 Smilie

Six inches more can be priceless in some situations.

The 77 G3 with MLA seems to be preferred by many (I haven't done a side-by-side though), saves a couple hundred bucks too. As long as you don't really need the size for your distance to the TV.

Yeah.. no.

Mini led vs oled, worse up scaling, inability to produce accurate colors, vs tried and true series with a non buggy os and much greater user reported reliability. It's a lot more of a panel lottery with Hisense, and the quirks you have to live with for some aren't going to make it worth it. In a few more years maybe.

It's a good budget tv the Hisense, don't get me wrong, but even rtings puts it in the "mid range", this is the "high range"

There are certain features and options that are electronics' companies moneymakers.
eg.... When a 55" TV was the standard big TV. The jump to 65" for the same model would be $1K.
Same deal when the 65" became standard and the upgrade would be to 75"
