Fyi both avatars are about to be rereleased on disc with Dolby Vision. This deal is not that.

This "Disney 100" Star Wars steelbook art is awful. 90% just unpainted brushed metal with very little printing.

The Best Buy 4K steelbook deals of 2020 when they were I think $7-12 were the sweet spot for me into 4K disc entry, so I was happy to stock up then. I am not a steelbook collector, but the average price of $10 I paid for each movie in my 4K Marvel/Disney/Pixar collection was fair for my more casual needs. $15+ price points don't intrigue me, but I understand how physical media enthusiasts and steelbook collectors may be jumping at the deal. I have a feeling these will be dropping further in price as they clear these movies out. It'll be sad to see Best Buy no longer carrying movies. The lack of competition in physical media will just keep prices elevated at retailers like Amazon and Target.

Same, I look for the 6-10 sales for 4k. I love physical media but I'm much more interested in special features than I am about a case being made of metal besides I like reversible art that gives the option of using old or new art!

Was afraid this was going to hit the wallet hard, then saw these gawd-awful disney 100 steelbook abominations.

Probably have between 6-10 of the animated movies to get in 4K steelbook format to complete my disney animated library, and I'll gladly wait till these things are replaced with a quality exterior design.

The title was changed (not by me) from my original header, which stated Disney 100 steels. OG read:
Best Buy Cyber Monday steelbook sale Disney 100 4Ks $16.99 and others including Avatar:The Way Of Water $19.99 and under

If you already owner Dolby Atmos Version and redeemed the digital code it automatically Updated to the Dolby Vision in MoviesAnywhere or iTunes

While it's great to see this creativity, I feel that corporations are wringing every possible penny from customers in the name of collectibles. Different versions and artwork for the same movie, different versions of Funko Pops for the same character - and there are multiple characters in an IP. I feel like the fun in collecting these has been negatively impacted due to this one dilution.
The fun of collecting died when the scalpers started bribing the Walmart employees to let them have first crack at the HotWheel cases before they went on the pegs. That was like 10+ years ago (if not more), so collecting is now just getting lucky or paying secondary market prices if you're not lucky. My completest days are far behind me.

I don't like the disney100 logo but an otherwise nice looking steelbook. I already have the original trilogy on 4k so I'll pass.

Debating getting new hope. I have Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back. The only thing is I have the regular versions of them, not sure I want to mix in a steelbook. But this steelbook would be cheaper.
