Fact check: I was wrong. They do tenderize most single-cut steaks with blades.

I can't afford this stuff, but did splurge 2 years ago [imgur.com] for 2.16-lbs at $216 for a special occasion. It was incredible.

From what I recall, they do mechanically tenderize most of their steaks, unlikely for this though. I believe you can see it on the label as "Blade Tenderized".

False. I love SD but I bought 6lbs of A5 Wagyu for $500 'cause I thought I would absolutely love it. I was wrong. I didn't like it. It wasn't bad but it was too fatty and expensive for my taste. Would I have bought it again if I loved it? Hell yeah. My friends and family whom I shared with were mixed as well. Some liked it and some don't, so definitely a matter of taste.
