Just received yesterday. Everything in good shape but same for me on cpu. However, I need the iGPU for intel quicksync. Calling Acer on Monday but not expecting any happy resolution.
As expected, no help at all from Acer. They'll refund me but no opportunity for exchange or replacement. Zero effort on their part to provide the product they listed.

Yeah the iGPU was a definite plus when I was deciding on this. Sucks they pulled a bit of a fast one. Just hope I don't have to do any troubleshooting with a bad vcard...

Received mine with the box slightly beat up, but not too bad.
Once I remove the desktop I could hear a rattling. It was small round tab that broke off. I couldn't find the source. Anyways, tried to turn it on.. no go. no LEDs.. nada. Going to have to trouble shoot a little bit to see. Bummer, was looking forward to using it.

Ordered the 3 TB version since this was sold out and received it recently. No power cables attached to the packaging. Messaged Acer. Let's see.

Got it 10 days ago and have been in the works with Acer support to fix the damaged RAM it came with. Will I run into any issues if I swap the RAM myself in the meantime?

Just wanted to add to the (-) feedback. Computer arrived in very good shape in the box. On start up, continuous error tone (memory error). It was sent out like that. Quick Look through the glass shows memory installed in slots DIMM2 and DIMM3. (!). Replace memory into DIMM1 and error still sounding. Troubleshooting indicates that DIMM1 slot is bad (not the memory stick). I guess their solution was to move memory from DIMM1 to 3? Returning for refund. Also, found out the "Acer Refurbished" seller is actually "Plan It ROI, Inc." I guess DBA: as "Acer Refurbished?" Do your research and plan accordingly. This was a great deal for anyone that got a clean machine, but YMMV, and don't count on the seller for resolution of hardware issues.

I got mine about a week and half ago. Overall I think it's fine, but I have noticed some annoyances. For one my power supply fan makes a buzzing sound occasionally. It's not always constant, but I guess the ball bearings are wearing. It's annoying and I wish I could just get a new power supply to replace it from Acer, but I think as other have said they will just say for me to refund the whole thing. Wonder if anyone suggests a replacement power supply to use?

Other than that I have had the network adapter act weird, but a driver reinstall fixed it.

This is a warning to anyone that returned their item to Acer refurb. Guy I may have gotten scammed. I sent the pc back, they got the pc but didnt refund after 2 days. So I opened a dispute. Gabriel immediately replied to me saying i need to closed the case so he can issue a refund. So I closed the case, and now i'm worried I wont be getting my refund as you cannot reopen a dispute. DO NOT close a dispute on ebay once you open it.

update: ebay sent the case to their appeals dept, and they reviewed the messages between me and Acer refurb, they overturned it and refunded me the amount. Thank goodness. Be careful "Gabriel from Acer" seems very scammy.

How did you guys open the glass panel? Don't see any screws to take it out.

Do you guys think I should return this prebuilt PC? If it's true that once the super GPUs come out, the price for the cards like the 4070 will drop/tank like crazy? If so, can I expect to get a decently priced system (around this or slightly more) with specs as good or better with a 4070 or 4080 within the next couple of months when the SUPER launches? I'm just trying to get the most bang for buck and longevity 😅.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. PC arrived intact and worked well for about 2 weeks. Today it froze and after a hard shutdown it is no longer booting. Fans spin up and lights turn on but no beeps or output from the GPU. Anyone have any ideas?

Why is it that when I turn on hardware acceleration on chrome, the subtitles on Crunchyroll are delayed? When I turn it off, it isn't delayed and works normally. Also, when it's on during UFO test, frames drop and I keep getting yellow and red stuttering errors. But when I turn hardware acceleration off, it stays constant at max frames but sometimes yellow stuttering error? Something wrong with my GPU?

Same here. It worked great since Christmas gaming at 1080p.

I hooked a 1440p monitor up today around noon, and it hard froze while gaming within 15 minutes. I kept the PC off until the evening, it froze again. I held the power button down to reboot and it never recovered. Lights are on everything. My guess is that there is some issue with the more demanding resolution that caused it to show the reason it was refurbished in the first place.

I tried hooking it up to the old monitor and nothing. No beeps, just lights, a quick keyboard light flash, and then nothing. There is obviously some error code available, but I don't have the capability to see it.

Have you tried to unplug the power supply and reset the cmos battery? Unplug all of your monitor cables and replug them too.

I can give you my story. I know that the CMOS is a potential fix, but I am in the return period so was able to start one. Otherwise, I tried all different peripherals, but I wasn't about to go tinkering and have them reject my return.
