update: ebay sent the case to their appeals dept, and they reviewed the messages between me and Acer refurb, they overturned it and refunded me the amount. Thank goodness. Be careful "Gabriel from Acer" seems very scammy.

Once I remove the desktop I could hear a rattling. It was small round tab that broke off. I couldn't find the source. Anyways, tried to turn it on.. no go. no LEDs.. nada. Going to have to trouble shoot a little bit to see. Bummer, was looking forward to using it.
Other than that I have had the network adapter act weird, but a driver reinstall fixed it.

I hooked a 1440p monitor up today around noon, and it hard froze while gaming within 15 minutes. I kept the PC off until the evening, it froze again. I held the power button down to reboot and it never recovered. Lights are on everything. My guess is that there is some issue with the more demanding resolution that caused it to show the reason it was refurbished in the first place.
I tried hooking it up to the old monitor and nothing. No beeps, just lights, a quick keyboard light flash, and then nothing. There is obviously some error code available, but I don't have the capability to see it.
