I think they're fine? I've has this for a couple years now and did a ton of reading before buying.

How long is "long time"? Do you know if the T248 overheats too? I have a T248 arriving tomorrow and considering returning it to pick this up.

You can set it to always have the fan running (it's not loud) which basically negates any possible overheating issue AFAIK. And the reported issues may have only been with defective units to begin with. I've never had the problem.

I have had this T300 with the Ferrari alcantara wheel since 2018. It's a great wheel. I paid $300 for this back then and a $100 th8r shifter back then.

Now I'm looking for a possible upgrade to Moza r5 or a fanatec dd ready2race bundle.

This wheel is a good upgrade from any Logitech line but there's always a desire for direct drive
