This is bigger and more powerful. So, you're looking at giving up more portability and mics. I have the JBL 310 and this is a baby version of that.
The wireless jbl mics are extremely nice, but they are $90. Although, you can buy any mic to plug in.
These are louder.

Jbl is competition from old school bass head days. But I use Sony in the studio as well. You really aren't gonna notice much a difference. I look for jbl tho
