I have this and it works great but it's regularly at this price. I paid $52.47 for it in July.

These cyber Monday and Black Friday sales have mostly all been scams.

Replaced my manscaped lawnmower with this and it is so much better. Zero fear when shaving.

Great device, only complaint, as someone else noted, was the rechargeable battery in my last one quit holding much of a charge in what felt like a short amount of time, especially given that I wasn't exactly trimming around the twig and berries as a daily thing. Curious if anyone knows of a handle for the 7000 series to make it useful as a back shaver.

Is this a good replacement for mangroomer? Been using that since I have to shave my back. For the front (chest, stomach) I use the normal electric razor that I use to trim my facial hair. It does decent job. Any benefit to using this one?
I've been using mangroomer for a couple years now but if there's better recommendation for the back, let me know

The Original Post had a note that this one includes a replacement head and a case. The model without the replacement head and case (model BG7030/49) is currently $50 at Amazon, Target, Best Buy, & Philips.

Agreed.

I paid a lot less $ for this Bodygroom model several Christmases ago.

Great deals have been scarce lately.
Do you know if it included the replacement head and case? I know the version without those can go cheaper sometimes, but this is about as cheap as I've seen the version with the replacement head and case.

Actually this is not a scam. This price matches the July pricing which I am pretty sure as Prime Day. I have full statistics on this item going back to 2019. The average price is 70.00. The absolute lowest price it has been. WHen it has been 64.00 this is still less. My quesiton is how low does it have to be? Most of the year if you neeed this assume the prcie would be 70.00.

2.00 more for the case and extra head is worth it. I am pretty sure there is some Map pricing on this. So the price at 52.00 approx is the lowest price it has been.

how compare to MG9000 from costco?
I assume you're referring to this Philips Norelco Multigroom 9000 All-in-one trimmer on sale for $35:
https://slickdeals.net/f/17077177-philips-norelco-multigroom-9000-titanium-blades-all-in-one-trimmer-39-98-for-costco-members

I got the Multigroom a couple years ago, mostly for haircuts and some non-sensitive-area body trimming, which it works well for. It has a lot of accessory attachments, which can be nice, but the Bodygroom has a convenient sliding attachment. The Multigroom does have a "body grooming attachment", but the teeth are tiny, and in my experience, seemed to get a bit bogged down going through any thicker hair, but worked okay.

Had this for couple of years. All scars and knicks I have on my balls were made by this trimmer. Whatever speed I shaved them, oiled or unoiled. Guys, what I was doing wrong? Is there any kind of teaching videos? Now use razor and have less issues then before.

This or the OneBlade, or in addition to the OneBlade?

Bought the cheap MicroTouch Solo, which I like, but would like to consolidate devices and get a possibly closer shave.
Don't use the OneBlade downstairs…. I learned the hard way when my bodygroom was dead.

Do you pull them taut? Never had that problem with this model and I've been using it for years.
