after unlocking, can this phone use any carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile for instance)??
Yes all iPhones once unlocked you can use it with any cell carrier nowadays. They have multi band radios to accommodate all USA cell companies.

How long do you have to be signed up for Cox cell service before you cancel?

I have Cox internet already and want this deal but am on a tmobile family plan for peanuts so I want to keep that.

I'm a Spectrum customer and I've been watching their site daily to score an iPhone deal. Seeing Xfinity, Cox, etc post deals and not Spectrum is disappointing as they are all VZ MVNOs. Also have a Tmo Simple Choice plan where Tmo said GFY, so I decided to not buy phones through them. If anything, I'd buy through Apple just to not give Tmo the money.

IMO, the $300 WM GC deal just isn't worth the credit hit and rigmarole. (Open VZ service, close within 3 days, etc)

Spectrum never has deals on Apple iPhones. It's selling like hotcakes ,so they won't bother

Like never, ever? I did search through past Spectrum deals and it seems they've had deals on Samsungs, Pixels, a Moto here and there, but never iPhones. I guess I was just hoping for one Frown.

Never done anything like this before, but tell me if I am wrong.

I want to keep my tmobile service while I wait for the 60 days to unlock this cox phone.

I can't buy this phone from cox and stick my tmobile sim in it because it's locked, correct?

If I port my number over from tmobile to cox it will result in tmobile canceling my line I believe?

If so, bummer, I want to take advantage of this deal.

Yes to all questions. You can setup a new line then just for 60 days to unlock then insert your T-Mobile sim.

Thanks, and just to confirm, it appears I am not signing up for any minimum contract length correct? After those 60 days I can unlock my phone and cancel my Cox Mobile service without any penalty?

iPhone 15 works on eSIM. Is it possible to add cox on one eSIM and tmo on another?
