You should include in the original post that you have to have COX internet service to take advantage of this deal. Phenomenal deal otherwise. Haven't seen a $500 off iPhone 15 Pro Max deal anywhere else yet.

Yes, locked to Cox. However, it can be unlocked after 60 days.

Any trade in available?
We did this for preorders to get the 500 Visa card. There aren't any trade-in promos for Cox specifically, unfortunately. But $500 off PLUS not requiring a trade-in is such an amazing deal.

Best Buy has a super easy trade-in for a gift card (pretty low value now post-iPhone 15 release rush). Apple also has a super easy trade-in. Both of these offer substantially lower credit than a 3rd party sale.

If you're not opposed to local 3rd party sales, you'll get the most bang for your buck selling there. In our area, our iPhone 13 Pro Max is going for ~40% more value than Apple's/Best Buy's trade-in.. so we sold our 13 Pro Max for 550 + got 500 off the 15 Pro Max.

Same... :/ And I didn't fully understand that you have to ACTIVATE THE PHONE ON THE DEVICE AND NOT JUST ON COX'S WEBSITE so we're still stuck waiting for 60-day lock period.. haha.

We talked with one representative about it during the pre-order and they said just activate the line right away online - even before phone is delivered to make the 60day waiting period shorter. Buuuuuut terms of service clearly state "At least 60 days must have passed since the device was activated on a Cox Mobile line and detected by the Cox Mobile network."

So PSA - Once you get the phone, immediately open it and connect it to Cox line to start your 60 day countdown.

iPhone 15 works on eSIM. Is it possible to add cox on one eSIM and tmo on another?
Yes! You just have to wait 60days for the unlock period, then you can add an eSIM from another plan.

Just be sure to activate your phone line AND connect your phone to the data to start the 60day countdown

Scroll down a little, you will see existing line...weird but it has one blank in between so rnsure you scroll down fully
Not sure what you mean by scroll a little. but no amount of scrolling is helping my case. Not sure the issue in my account. I do see "Your existing lines are not eligible for a new device at this time" message. Cox support is not able to explain why. I did order with a new line. The trick is how to get my current number onto the new phone. I intend to give away my old phone to family and wont have the old device with me when I get the new device. It is going to be tricky... Cox support recommended to order with a new line; activate/switch-on the phone; then cancel the new line and then transfer the old number to this. Since I paid full, the CS said no restrictions in canceling the line. Lets see...

Just curious for those that wanted to add a 2nd line to the order but couldnt, did you just complete the purchase for the 1st line and reorder the 2nd phone with a new order?

Thanks, and just to confirm, it appears I am not signing up for any minimum contract length correct? After those 60 days I can unlock my phone and cancel my Cox Mobile service without any penalty?
Correct. You can do the $15 pay-as-you-go 1gig/month plan. Then after your 60 days (I would just keep it for the 3 months so $45) you can carrier unlock it (really easy online process) and then cancel your line.

These phones use exclusively eSIM, so you can call T-Mobile and then update your iPhone with the eSIM from T-Mobile.

What's the procedure from beginning to end for someone who doesn't have cox internet? I know I have to buy cox internet first, but what will be the overall cost including cheapest internet plan?

You have to order Cox internet first and once available, register your account online. From there, you can order mobile service.

The price depends on which internet tier you order and your area (taxes/fees are different by state/city/county).
